Eighty three packages containing cannabidiol (CBD) and tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) were seized by the drug squad Ykan on Friday evening during the search of a kiosk in Larnaca.

According to police, the search was part of ongoing checks to identify harmful or illegal substances being sold. The operation was carried out in the presence of the kiosk’s 41-year-old manager.

The seized items are classified as class B controlled drugs.

The manager was questioned and released.

The seized goods will be scientifically examined.
