I don’t have a favourite book that stands out for me.
Best childhood memory?
Family outings to the mountains of Kantara and wonderful moments on the golden beaches of Famagusta. A bittersweet memory is the orange festival in Famagusta in March 1963, when I participated and won the title of Queen of the Orange Tree.
What is always in your fridge?
Milk and bread.
What music are you listening to in the car at the moment?
Jazz, soul and Hadjidakis.
What’s your spirit animal?
Doves and the Eurasian collared dove, without identifying with animals.
What are you most proud of?
My children.
What movie scene has really stayed with you?
The ‘Oopsie daisies’ scene in Notting Hill, among many others.
If you could pick anyone at all (alive or dead) to go out for the evening with, who would it be?
Greek composer Manos Hadjidakis… for a relaxed, quality chat.
If you could time travel when/where would you go?
To the 18th century.
What is your greatest fear?
Insecurity.

To respect herself, not get stressed and accept criticism.

I’d spend the time with my children playing board games.
Andry’s works include autobiographical short film Loulouthkia, mini-series drama Daffodils and short film Bold dedicated to women who break barriers. Andry won the Hollywood Just4Shorts Best TV Script award for Daffodils in 2024 and was a finalist at the Santa Barbara International Screenplay Awards for Bold in 2024
